Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week is all about teachers!  Teachers have always been a part of my life in more ways than one and will always have a special place in my heart.  Both of my parents were teachers, I married a teacher, and I have a teaching degree myself!  ;)

I am linking my teacher gifts up to the Heart 2 Heart Teacher Appreciation Challenge.  I am making a set of these note cards for each of my children's teachers.  This one features the bold, bright colors of Dream Pop.  :)  Robi, close your eyes now if you are reading!  ;)

I wanted to keep these easily reproducible, but also visibly pleasing.  With the Dream Pop Pattern Papers, that was a cinch, lol!  I love how the black CS makes the colors pop even more.  I stamped in Ruby Ink and added a tiny red sparkle for the period for a bit of bling.  :)

The Classmate Alphabet is retired now, but I originally bought it for just this reason.  The letters were not terribly hard to line up on the line.  There were no repeating letters in this teacher's name, so we will see how it goes for the next one.  I am up for the challenge!  :)

I only used one sheet of pattern paper to make these 5 cards, and even had some left to add to each on the inside for an accent!  One set down...five to go!  These are going to be used as end of the year gifts, so I still have time, thank goodness!  I have a little something planned to go along with them and, I cannot wait to share it with you!  :)

  3. You are the mistress of the cute card set--these ones are perfect! Simple to put together, eye-catching, with a wink to the recipient (the schoolyard alphabet and of course the personalization). Love, love, love.
