A Red Card with the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cartridge

I have DONE it!  I finally used an overlay on a card, lol!

Today (read, YESTERDAY or BEFORE MIDNIGHT) I quickly got to business playing along with Mandy Leahy's #Card-A-Day Challenge: Red.  I am LOVING this card!!!

I knew I wanted to use an Artbooking overlay, but which one....AHA!!!

From the first time I saw this, I wondered why they had not placed it in with the other Christmas themed cuts...OH, it isn't SUPPOSED to be a peppermint candy!  BUT it IS!!!

Seriously, you cannot tell me that it isn't!

    1. Yay! I asked kid #1 what it looked like, and she said peppermints. Kid #2 said a wheel. LOL!!! I thought it might be a beach ball? Thanks!!!

  4. Just tried to duplicate this adorable thing!! You are now my hero of patience! The next time I'm waiting for something to happen I'll take all of the little pieces out of that overlay cut in a card size! BUT for now I'm just going to adore your work and let you know you're a genius! AND you really must have tiny fingers.
