I have DONE it! I finally used an overlay on a card, lol!
Today (read, YESTERDAY or BEFORE MIDNIGHT) I quickly got to business playing along with Mandy Leahy's #Card-A-Day Challenge: Red. I am LOVING this card!!!
I knew I wanted to use an Artbooking overlay, but which one....AHA!!!
From the first time I saw this, I wondered why they had not placed it in with the other Christmas themed cuts...OH, it isn't SUPPOSED to be a peppermint candy! BUT it IS!!!
Seriously, you cannot tell me that it isn't!

I looooooooooooooooooove what you did here. I totally think it's a peppermint candy. After seeing this I don't think it can be interpreted any other way!!
ReplyDeleteYay! I asked kid #1 what it looked like, and she said peppermints. Kid #2 said a wheel. LOL!!! I thought it might be a beach ball? Thanks!!!
DeleteWonderful card, Amie and congrats on using an overlay!

About time on a card, eh? Thanks, Marie!
DeleteGreat card, the more I look at my Artbooking the more I find things and get excited about using it to make cards.

ReplyDeleteYAY!!!!! :)
DeleteJust tried to duplicate this adorable thing!! You are now my hero of patience! The next time I'm waiting for something to happen I'll take all of the little pieces out of that overlay cut in a card size! BUT for now I'm just going to adore your work and let you know you're a genius! AND you really must have tiny fingers.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! :)
