Twisted Gatefold Beary Christmas Gift Card Holder

I'm back a LOT sooner than I thought!  Actually, it's probably due to sheer will at this point, hahaha!

I really wanted to share this version of an amazingly simple fancy fold card with you before Christmas rolls around so you can put it to good use if you like.  Don't freak out yet--it totally fits in a standard size A2 envelope!  ;)  (If you missed my Thanksgiving version, head over to THIS POST for a link to the directions and my inspiration.)

Isn't that just the cutest thing?

I used the Thought that Counts My Acrylix stamp set from Close to My Heart.  This one has some crazy funny tag sentiments that I know my peeps will enjoy for years, check it out...

The inside of this card easily holds a gift card with a couple of glue dots!

LOVE it!

Tag (You're It!) Tuesday Christmas Edition!

I LOVE Christmas tags!  I try to make excuses to make them all the time...and with a crafty blog, I have LOTS of excuses!  ;)

This first tag was just begging for two of my favorite Christmas colors--SILVER and GOLD!  I grabbed my Foil Tape and got busy....

These next two tags were so simple--I just grabbed some Cricut cuts laying around on my work-space and used what I found!

Those trees are so cute!  They are found on a Close to My Heart Hostess only My Acrylix stamp set called, Falalalala (OK, that is really hard to type out with the right number of lalalala's!)  Here is another example using the images...

I will have some more tags to show you next week, so tune in on Tuesday to see them!  :)

Before I let you go--check out what came to my house yesterday!

This is THE NEW Everyday Life Planner!!!  The bundle that included the binder, pages, and roller stamp is ON SALE NOW for 15% off--JUST $29.95 for all three!!!!  Check out these adorable details...

Includes both month at a glance AND weekly pages!  :)

You get ALL this in the limited time bundle...

Planners Gotta Plan Bundle!

12 Days of Christmas Sale Day 10 and Tag (You're It!) Tuesday!

Day 10 was begging for more Christmas tags, so I happily obliged!

I absolutely love the Kraft paper this year for tags.  It just provides such a great base for the colors of Christmas to pop right off!  I used my Close to My Heart Sparkle and Shine Paper Packet and Topiary CS for the bows on these.  My trusty Artiste Cricut Cartridge took care of the easy to assemble bows which I simply popped a brad through to hold in place!  So simple!

I used the Mini Tower Pigment Inks for these tags to allow the color to remain true when stamped on the darker paper.  They come in each of our 40 colors!  :)  This image is found on the December 25th My Acrylix Set.

You can still pick up the baker's twine I used on my website while it lasts, but it will be sold out when they are gone.

Now, who wants to see the Sale special for today???

Yep!  It's back for the last time!  Any size order gets a freebie today AND an entry to win that $50 mystery box filled with CTMH goodies!!!  Just place your order on my website HERE, and then let me know which size M stamp you would like!   Give it away, or keep it for yourself!

Don't forget to check out the adorable Stamp of the Month too!  It coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut Collection and is just $5 with a $50 purchase all month long.  :)

12 Days of Christmas Sale Day 3 and Tag (You're It!) Tuesday!

Welcome back for Day 3 of my sale!  I hope you are having a wonderful time watching for the perfect deal for YOU!  Are you ready?  Here we go...

Who wants a free acrylic block?  You can choose either a 1" x 3.5" or 2" x 2" block for today's sale when you order $35 of product on my website!  Just let me know after you place your order which one you would like, and I will send it to you separate from your order.  Just a little thank you for your business!  HERE is the link to my website.  :)

NOW, I have a few cute tags to show you today!  I used the Close to My Heart A Holiday My Acrylix along with the coordinating holly cuts from my Cricut Art Philosophy Collection on each tag.  I also used a couple of metal dies in my collection from My Creative Time.  I am linking these up with the My Creative Time Designer's Challenge to make Christmas gift tags!

This is my favorite of the three!  The actual tags shapes are found on the Artiste Cricut Cartridge from Close to My Heart.   I had to use this little jingle bell die the second it came in the mail.  It is found in the Warm Holiday Fun set from MCT, along with the stocking stamp.

I used the peppermint striped pattern from Sparkle and Shine to paper piece the parts of the stocking.  Tiny little Bitty Sparkles colored red with a Sharpie really add to the ivy trim at the bottom.

This one uses the Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies from MCT and White Daisy Pigment Ink, along with the Close to My Heart Perfect Fit Holidays set--one of my faves for Christmas this year!  The sentiment at the bottom is such a beautiful font and again from the A Holiday set.

I cannot say enough about this adorable new die set from MCT that I used for this tiny Santa hat!  It is called Classy Girl Accessories, and again, I HAD to run it through my Big Shot immediately using my Ruby CS!  ;)

The Secret Santa Stamp is from one of the All Around sets at MCT too.   I stamped it in a matching CTMH Ruby Ink.

Another Tan Glitter Paper bell!  :)

Did you notice how SUPER-EASY these tags are to make?!  They took almost no time to gather the parts and assemble.  I am really enjoying using Kraft paper to make the colors pop this year!

Thanks for stopping in, and don't forget to shop my 12 Days of Christmas Sale!  :)

Gratitude In All Circumstances with Heart 2 Heart

Hello again my crafty peeps!  I appreciate you all so much.  We don't tell each other how grateful we are for the little things quite enough, know what I mean?  I am trying to be grateful in my life under all circumstances and in all seasons, but it is a tricky thing to do.  (Except Winter, lol!  Kidding!)

Today, Team Sunset is sharing its GRATITUDE with you in our creations over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges.  We are incredibly GRATEFUL to you for always tuning in to see what challenge we might have up out sleeve.  I am extremely GRATEFUL to be serving on the Heart 2 Heart Design Team too!  It really struck me though that I am always striving for the NEXT thing, the NEXT big project, the NEXT big gig...when the ones right here in the now are important too!

So, instead of stressing, I am focusing on the GRATITUDE I have for the NOW.  Right now I have two craft shows lined up, and I am so excited to participate in them for the first time ever!  I am extremely lucky to even have a spot at ONE, so my thankfulness is overflowing.  I designed an adorable set of Santa Tags to take along to sell that I would love to show you!

The base for all these tags is Kraft paper.  I really wanted the White Daisy CS of Santa's mustache to POP!  The Sparkle and Shine Washi 3-pack is fantastic for tags!  So quick and easy!   I suppose the exact same thing can be said for the shimmer trim in all colors!  (These would be the EASY things to be grateful for each day, lol.)  I love the Perfect Fit Holidays My Acrylix stamp set that includes this darling Ho, ho, ho sentiment...

These tags and mustaches are cut on my Cricut with the Close to My Heart exclusive Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

Embossing folders are GREAT for tags.  This one is a woodgrain from Tim Holtz.

Sticking the red shimmer trim to CS and trimming it out really makes it stand out...

This final tag is my favorite!  Two little Licorice Opaques are the beady little eyes, and I colored the large Opaque Pearl for Santa's nose with my Alcohol Ink Marker in Cranberry and let it dry (this takes TIME!)  Sharpies work as well...

The sentiment is from the December 25th My Acrylix available on my website that I used Cranberry Pigment Ink to stamp.  I love this face!

Alright, I shared mine, now it is your turn!  Show us your GRATITUDE!  What are YOU thankful for?  Will you make a thank you card or gift?  Something else?  Link up with us over at Heart 2 Heart Challenges by the end of November for your chance to become top chic!!!  That would be some awesomely easy gratitude, eh?   ;)

I am gratefully linking up with Simon Says Stamp's Anything Goes Challenge in hopes of being even more grateful!  ;)

Time to Start Thinking About Christmas!

Hi everyone!

Alright, so don't freak out or anything, but there are less than three months left to plan out those handmade Christmas gifts...and THAT's if you are working up the the last minute, lol!

If case you need an idea or two, here is a box of Christmas tags to get you inspired.  I made these tags throughout the season last year, and decorated a box to hold them.

I used the retired CTMH Believe papers to decorate this My Creations Card Box.  The bow I made is super-easy with a cut from the Cricut Artiste Collection.  I cut it on my Cricut Expression 2 at the largest size possible.  A retired bling brad holds it together, and a strip of Silver Shimmer Trim adds some sparkle too!

See these awesomely cute Twist Ties?  I inked them up with a sponge dauber to coordinate with my papers!  I used Sweet Leaf on one side and Sky Blue on the other!  :)

There is a wonderfully handy hidden magnetic closure on the box.

I sure had accumulated a huge variety of tags by the end of the season last year!  I had so many that I was able to donate an entire box for my friend's silent auction to raise money for St. Baldrick's Foundation.  :)

Loved these sucker tags!

Well, I hope that I got your juices flowing with this little reminder.  What are you making for gifts this year?

On the Eleventh Day of Christmas...

...my crafty hands made me, gift tags for under the tree.

Yep, it is almost here!!!  Christmas is right around the corner, so put out those cookies and carrots tonight and sit back and relax.  Um, wait a minute....I mean get your tail in gear and move, move, move!!!  Are you a last-minute wrapper?  I try not to be, but with posting daily for the last twelve (or thirteen, oops!) days, it was inevitable, lol!!!  Welcome to life at Christmas with a craft blog!  ;)

There are several different versions of this tag floating around, but this is mine.  :)  I love the shape of this tag, just wondering why I chose such a trim waistline for the jolly old elf!  ;)  Actually, I had some scraps of shimmer trim left over from another project, and this was the perfect way to use them up!  Belt buckles!

I have really become fond of the mix of blues and browns for Christmas themed paper crafts this year.  These tags are just one implication of my taste.  I am a huge fan of the Wonderland papers that I used and really hope they bring it back someday!   I also used a stamp from December 25th.  I have really used this stamp quite a bit.

My Gelly Roll Stardust pen wanted in on the action today, so I added a bit of shimmer on the snowflakes.  Hope you can see it.

Good luck tonight, and God Bless!!!

And the winner is....

Time for me to announce the winner of my Black Friday sales!  Well, OK, it is past time so I won't make you wait any longer.   The winner is....

BETH OMAR!!!!  Congratulations, Beth!  Please let me know which WOTG you would like and I will get it right out to you!  :)

I have a few miscellaneous Christmas tags left to show you too...

I went a tad bit poinsettia happy the past month or so while making my wreath, lol.  Here is one of the first tags I made this season.

Next, I wanted some easy ones to mass produce for my gifts.

The shimmer trim sandwiches easily in between these two tag cuts on the cricut Art Philosophy collection.

I LOVE using my Gelly Roll Stardust pen to just add some sparkle to these...but it is tricky to photograph.  I drew along the lines in the middle of the star.

Are you making any Christmas tags this year?  :)
