I am back again with another Flip Stand Album page...and this one shows you a cool technique to use with the Cricut Artbooking Collection from Close to My Heart. All my cuts on this page are from this cartridge...
When you cut an overlay, try backing it with scraps of paper and trimming off the ends...
Have I mentioned how much I love these Marquee Enamel Shapes? Look how they pop when placed over the picture like this...
This is a little demo of a stamping technique to show motion using the One Way Borders My Acrylix...just pick up your stamp and move it over slightly to stamp again...love the effect!
My girl sure loved to steal everyone's shoes back in the day! ;) Now I have an adorable conversation starter to keep the memories alive. :)
LOVE how you backed this overlay. Actually the whole thing is full of stuff to love. BUT then again you could have used a piece of masking tape on white paper with this precious photo. It's definitely a standout.
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be one of my top ten pics! I love that Rylie always put our big shoes on to walk around. We used to say she had a foot fetish! This is such a great way to scrap those odd pics that go with nothing else. :)
DeleteWhat a great flip book. I love it. What darling pics of your daughter I know you had to have had the best time ever creating each and every page. Thanks for showcasing Artbooking in such a clever and creative way and sharing your stamping technique loved it all. I do have the Artbooking kit and love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks so very much, Joan! I do so love this picture. It captures her personality so perfectly! :)
DeleteI love this, Amie! My Cricut is buried right now until I can get my craft room finished and I have so many plans for my flip stand album! I love the inspiration you give!
ReplyDeleteOh you are so sweet! I hope you get it out and chirping soon! :)
