Impromptu Card Workshop...with My Kids!

Hi everyone!  I love spending the hot, hot summer days in my basement craft room!  It is always nice and cool down there and usually no children, lol!  That was totally a joke--the kids are always coming to see what I am up to and if they can help.  Anyway, my youngest has been begging for a private card workshop.  She adores dry embossing and uses all my old paper to play with my Big Shot while I am working down there.  Well, a couple of weeks ago, I finally obliged her with a semi-private lesson.  We made lots of great get-well cards for our family and our church family too.  Here are a few of the girls' creations...I taught them how to make my band aid!  :)

First of all, you would not believe the mess we had after we were finished!  Second of all, it looks like I might have some more downline in the future!  ;)

I'll show you one of my creations from that day on Saturday!  :)

I totally believe you had a big mess when you were done, but it was worth it, wasn't it? I found myself wondering when she was going to get her own blog!

    1. Every bit was worth it! She can't have her own blog until she has her own computer--otherwise we will be fighting for it, lol! ;)
