Project Life Week One Re-Do and Last Chance for Year Noted!

The month has quietly slipped away from me, and today is the 31st of January!  I have several pages finished for the month, yay!!!  My Canon Selphy has proven to be quite the little workhorse to get my life down in the books.  I am a happy scrapper to say the least.  :)

I wanted to show you this page re-do today (here is my original and unfortunate beginning) in case you were inspired to grab the Year Noted Kit from my website today which will be your last chance!

I adore these little banners for making strings of embellies!  I also love the dotted line and check-box stamps for journaling lists of anything and everything!

You knew you would see this little image in my pages again, didn't you?  Glitter Glam is such a fun set!  I had a leftover scrap of White Daisy CS with the reverse part of a Scallop Border Punch to it...waste not, want not!  The Teal Glitter paper and the Chalk It Up products were a match made in scrapbook heaven!

Be Amazing (Yes, YOU!)

Is there a day of the week that starts with a P or a J???  I need a catchy little way to introduce these little cards for PML or PL or call them Journaling Cards if you like, but I need a coordinating day...how about an eighth day of the week called Paperday?  Oh how I wish!!!  :)

I thought the Gold Polka-Dot Washi was a lovely coordinating product, how about you?

I stamped the "BE AMAZING" image from the current Stamp of the Month in Sorbet Ink (twice without re-inking.)  The arrow from the Year Noted Kit is stamped in Black.  That pretty little glittery gold butterfly is in the CTMH Junebug Puffies.

I don't know about you, but I am REALLY loving the gold accents, and I am usually a silver girl!  It reminds me a lot of Teresa Collins new lines this year.  :)

Freshly Made Sketches with Year Noted

Another unexpected crafty day with everyone home from school means I get to play along with Freshly Made Sketches this week!  I LOVE this one, too, so that's a double bonus!

FIRST of all, I am not a yellow person at all...but I could be after this card!  ;)

Those rectangles...let me tell you...they were tricky to size up and get laid out just right.  I think I cut waaaaay more paper from the Year Noted Kit for National Papercrafting Month than I used, lol.  But thank goodness this sentiment was straightforward.  It can be found on the Variety of Thanks Hostess Rewards My Acrylix Stamp from Close to My Heart.  All my hostesses can earn this gorgeous set for just $6 of their rewards!

The flowers are from the Lovely Birthday My Acrylix and stamped in Black CTMH Ink and then colored with the ShinHan Touch Twin Alcohol Ink Markers in Golden Yellow, Light Orange, and Marigold.  Those sparkly leaves are made using a Verve Wafer Die along with Close to My Heart Green Glitter Paper.  I was craving a bit of spring, you see, with the temps below zero here.  ;)

I combined BOTH the images from This Moment and the Year Noted National Papercrafting Month Kit to create some journaling boxes for my upcoming pages...

This is not orange!  It is more of a pinkish than an orange--it just happens to be one of those colors that ends up impossible to edit, lol.  I stamped the image in Sorbet Ink twice so this would be a lighter, second generation image.  (I am a bit more tolerant of Sorbet these days, lol.) It is one of the CTMH inks that matches nicely with these papers.  Also, did you catch the bit of NEW White Shimmer Trim?  :)

I like Lagoon as a darker complementary color. 

These 4x6 cards fit perfectly into the Picture My Life pockets!  The kit comes with 2 sheets.

You get a light blue, light pink, and two White Daisy 12x12 sheets of CS.  The pattern on the back sheet of paper is the reverse side of the 4x6 cards.  THIS is the best pic of the pinkish hue...

GOLD foil stickers are totally on trend right now!
