A while ago I shared a quick little sneak peek of these adorable thank you cards in progress over on my Facebook page...and I finally got them done and delivered! These were TONS of fun to make for my kiddos at school...
I used the super-sweet Animal Greetings My Acrylix stamp set, which happens to be the current Operation Smile stamps available from Close to My Heart.
I have been raring to go this month for a couple of different reasons. But MOSTLY, because I simply ADORE the Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart this month. I mean, the set is called, TWINKLE, so how would I NOT love it? :)
These lights are soooooo cute! I added a candy cane border also cut from Artiste at .75 inches, and some leftover letters from a cut found on the NEW Cricut Artistry Cartridge! You never know when those extra letters will come in handy! :)
You have all month to get your hands on this super Christmas themed stamp set! It is regularly priced at $17.95, but you can also get it for just $5 with a $50 purchase on my website! Just fill your shopping cart with $50 worth of crafty goodness, and the checkout will prompt you to add the Stamp of the Month for the discounted price.
Here is a little video I made that shows you how the ordering system prompts you to add specials like the $5 Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart...I made the video in July, so the special is different--but the way you add specials to your order is the same! :) Thanks for stopping in!
I am a little hyped up on adrenaline so excuse me for yelling! ;)
It is the last night of our little off-site Close to My Heart Convention, and I made a little something to commemorate the occasion. Corporate decided to go with a Disney "Up" Theme for this year's shin-dig, so I thought this was a great way to wrap up our time here...
I used the balloon image from the current Operation Smile Happy Everything My Acrylix to create a giant bouquet of balloons on my card. I stamped them in Black Pigment Ink from the Mini Pigment Pad Set and then used several differnt colors of ShinHan Alcohol Ink Markers to color them in. I popped some up with foam tape for a bit of dimension. The clouds are cut on White Daisy CS with the Art Philosophy Cartridge on my Explore. Then I used a black marker to add the details just like the gals over at convention added to their adorable UP layouts. The sentiment is bright and cheery like the balloons!
Goooooooood MORNING! I am extremely upbeat and chipper today! Don't hold it against me because I am typing this on Sunday, not Monday, lol! ;)
Anyway, I showed my Facebook fans a sneaky peek of this fantastically easy layout that I made by using the part of my Cricut cut that I would normally discard--the negative. Follow me on Facebook HERE to see more sneak peeks like this one.
I cut out a bunch of circles with my Cricut and was left with this...
I am a keeper, let me tell you...so as I was tossing it out, that little voice popped out and whispered, KEEP IT! Use it! I have learned to listen to that little voice, my friends! ;)
