Picture My Life on Monday

This is going to be a hard week for me personally, so I just want to ask for a few prayers from my friends.  I am fine, but a very dear little friend of mine is not...so my work world is going to be turned upside down for a while.  Thanks for understanding, and for allowing me to ask for the prayers!

I still have lots of sneak peeks of new product ahead, so I hope to be able to get them all shared.  :)

First I need to catch up, and also remind you that some of the Seasonal Expressions 1 products will be disappearing when March ends.  These Hopscotch Picture My Life cards are my FAVORITE thing that is going...

I used a couple of them in my week four layout.

Yes, my nativity IS still up!  Oh boy...

These are a few more of my versatile favorites in the set...

In case you aren't familiar, here is another look at the Picture My Life system of scrapbooking with the Babycakes Kit...

It really makes keeping up with your family pictures and memories fun and easy!

Now is a great time to try it out if you are interested!  I have a Mystery Hostess Gathering on my website for you to earn free products!  Read all about it HERE...

Picture My Life in Hopscotch

Here is another week of my life in pictures this year...thanks to the super quick and easy Picture My Life system of scrapbooking, my pics are all scrapped so far in 2015.

I love mixing it up for these pocket pages!  I took a pic of an old pic that I printed out many years ago...a great way to preserve a fading memory!  How many of you have pictures that are fading in a frame from years ago that you have no idea where the NEGATIVES are stored...or if they are on a ZIP disc somewhere???  Yeah, admit it! This is one of my big motivations to get my pics in albums--technology is in constant motion whether we like it or not.  Scrapbooks will be there to flip open at any time!  :)

I have been eying these hexagons from the Happy Hexagon Hostess My Acrylix set for a long time, and I finally had the page to use them...

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you know I love me some sparkle in my creations, and I try my best to keep on sparkling no matter what...which is where my CTMH glitter paper really comes in handy!  My friend, Jayma, shared this little FB post on my wall at the end of January, and I just loved it so much, I had to print it out for my album!  :)  Thanks, Jayma!

Unfortunately, the Hopscotch Kit that I used for these is leaving our warehouses as soon as they run out, so get your hands on them if you like them...they are becoming some of my favorite PML cards!  Check these out...

Don't wait too long to get yours!  :)

Makeover Monday for My Creative Time!

I LOVE looking forward to Mondays, and Makeover Mondays are always something to look forward to!  :)

On Friday I shared this little PML card I made for my 2015 album...

and I knew just how to spruce it up for my post today, and for the challenge Emma is having over at My Creative Time this month.  I used her amazing dies to create the perfect embellishments!  Here is the color inspiration...

Creative Challenge

Now, check out my PML card makeover!

LOVE the silver sequins.

You guessed it--it's been a pretty snowy winter near Chi-town!  :)

LOVE Emma's stitched flat-bottom clouds!

I used the MCT snowflake and stitched cloud dies, Close to My Heart Hopscotch PML cards, and an image from the Stamp of the Month shown below for the "sun."  The snowflakes are cut on a pattern from the Wanderful Paper Packet.

HUGE thanks to Emma for posting her challenges on the side of her blog now--SO easy to find!!!  :)

A Happy Hello!

Picture My Life Hopscotch Edition

Hi again!  Two blog posts in a row is pretty darn good for me these days, lol.  I have been playing with the Close to My Heart pocket-style scrapbooking program called Picture My Life this year and enjoying it A LOT!  One of my favorite things about using it is how FAST I can get my pictures into pages.  It is just like having my own easy button for scrapbooking!

Here is a great example featuring the Hopscotch PML cards and the February Stamp of the Month, A Happy Hello...

Now, the image I used for the sun is actually part of a floral set...but isn't it perfect?  The cards are for a layout with lots of pics from the snowy weather lately.

Add a simple cloud shape cut from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge, and you have an even cuter...and still quite easy, creation!  :)

Tune in Monday to see how I took one of these cards up a notch with some embellishments...you won't want to miss it!  :)
