Sneak Peek of the Cricut Artfully Sent Collection from Close to My Heart

Ready for another look at the AMAZING NEW Cricut cartridge coming from Close to My Heart?  ME TOO!!!  :)

Artfully Sent

We made three cards from Artfully Sent at convention, and I think this is my favorite of the three.  There are POP-UP cards on the cartridge! 

Isn't that sentiment beautiful!  No stamping required for those of you without inky fingers.  ;)  This card features two NEW colors of CS!  Do you know what they are?  Here is one pictured below...the one on the right!  ;)  The other new color is called Glacier.  YUM!

Here is a tip for you when we finally get our hands on this cartridge...when making these cards, PLEASE pay attention to where you apply adhesive, lol, TRUST ME!  ;)

I blinged mine up with some new Gold Shimmer Trim and Sequins!  :)

Throwback Thursday from the Heart

Oh my goodness, time for a throwback!  Let's go back to the Close to My Heart 2014 Convention, shall we?  ;)

Our amazing leader, Jeanette Lynton, gave each consultant this heartfelt stamp on the last day of activities.  I really wanted to use it on a special project, so made a motivational framed piece of art...from the heart!

I stamped the sentiment in Gypsy Exclusive Ink to go with the new ShinHan Touch Twin Marker colors that I wanted to use on the beautiful flowers.  These amazing alcohol ink markers will be available in the new Annual Inspirations Book beginning in August! 

I am so amazed at how well they coordinate with our color palette!   Can you spot three of the NEW colors that will be introduced in the Close to My Heart family?

Speaking of throwbacks and family, here I am at convention the very first night meeting my AMAZING upline, Mandy Leahy!  :)

Blast Back to Convention!

I wanted to show you the amazing gifts I received at convention this year!  It was my first year, so i had no idea what to expect...

My downline, Michele, who attended gifted me EVERY day!  I was sooooo excited and surprised!  Now, if I had thought of it at the time, I would not have eaten my gifts before I took pics!  ;)

Here are two I still had intact...I adore the little play on words! 

PLUS, she totally tricked me by giving me this bag she made!!!  I was shocked!  LOVE that little bookmark she added!

OK, next is my gift from the Damask Divas Secret Sister Gift Exchange.  My teammate, Gaye, had me, and I literally had to sit down when I saw my gifts especially this gorgeous album...

She used the Balloon Ride Paper Packet to make it along with the Complements and other embellishments...

The ends of those pages are POCKETS!!!  They pull out to reveal some hidden pics or journaling...

I can't wait to add some pics and memories from convention!!!  :)

Close to My Heart Annual Convention 2014!!!

You know that saying, "time flies when you're having fun?"  Well, now imagine you are at the Close to My Heart Annual Convention in DISNEYLAND and tell me how fast the time flies!

I KNOW, RIGHT???

So one week ago, this was the scene in my room...

I was packing up and hitting the road for the annual CTMH Convention in Disneyland...CRAZY!

Well, I made it, and I can't believe it is already over!  Here are some pics of the highlights of my trip!

Happy Buttons for the Happiest Place on Earth!

How else could I possibly feel surrounded by all things Disney and Close to My Heart, lol!?

The cat is finally out of the bag, and I can share the secret behind these Happy Buttons seen all over convention...(and if I had actually clicked on publish, this would have been live earlier today, lol.)

The one and only CTMH Consultant Tresa Black put together the greatest show on earth for the happiest place on earth!  AND we pulled it off...a flashmob of CTMH consultants to the song Happy by Pharrell Williams! It was so incredible!!!  Check that one off the bucket list! 

I am sure you can find some video on YouTube by now, and I will come back to link one up when I find one!

CTMH Convention 2014: Damask Divas Secret Sister Gift Exchange!

Greetings from Anaheim! 

I am sooooo ready to see the new Idea Book!  The new one has a new name, Annual Inspirations, AND a ton of new products that will be available for one entire year!  I will get my hands on it later today, but for now I can finally show you my Damask Divas Secret Sister Gift!  :)

My secret sister was MARCI!!!  :)  I got her two fantastic shades of OPI polish that are inside this sparkly milk carton...

I also wanted to put a little Convention Survival Kit together for her!

Inside are chocolates, emery boards, and this handy-dandy notebook!

Got sequins?  Yep!

Got bling?  You betcha!

Got post it flags?  Oh, yeah, baby!  Perfect to flag all those must-have new items in the Annual Inspirations!  :)

Finally, I wanted to make something personalized for her to tie onto her purse or name badge...so I used the new Base and Bling to do just that!  :)
