Easy Button Scrapbooking: Little Dreamer Layout

I always love what I call "easy button" scrapbooking.  Give me layouts that don't require a lot of fuss any day of the week.  It makes the chances THAT much greater that my pics are getting into an album.  Especially since I go back to full time work at school this week!  My crafty time during the school year is precious, let me tell you, and I know yours is too.

Here is a super layout that serves just that purpose!  I tweaked a little design that corporate provided to consultants and made it "pattern paper friendly" to creating several of the same layout.  This way I was able to offer the layout at my Workshop Buffet!  :)

This one features the Little Dreamer pattern paper, Gold Shimmer Trim, Gold Glitter Gems, and the Little Dreamer Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cuts.

CS colors are Lagoon and Glacier while the inks are Tangerine, Lemon, Lagoon, and Glacier.

Lagoon CS is 3.5 x 11.5
Glacier CS is 4 x 12
Patterned Paper is 1.5 x 12
White photo mats are 3.5 in square

Gosh I adore that font!

The great thing about using a small strip of the pattered paper here is that you are free to choose coordinating solid CS and inks in the colors that YOU need.  Whether you need a feminine page or a masculine feel, you can pick the colors to suit your purpose!  These Little Dreamer products are only around while supplies last, so grab them if you want them!  ;)

This One Time, At Card Camp...

Giggling still from typing that title, so give me a second...and I think I just accidentally came up with the greatest name ever for my card workshops!!!

OK!  I'm back with another card I made with my favorite little bear, Jack.  I wanted to play with some angled paper lines for this one.

The beautiful Sea Glass Glitter paper and sprinkle paper from Sugar Rush that I used are sadly gone now, but easily substituted!

Confession.  I made this one so long ago that I have no recollection which sequins I used, lol.  They could be from the Prickly Pear pack...or Dreaming Big (retired.)  Personally I think it could be both.

I DO know that I love this cloud paper from Little Dreamer.  As in I want to gobble it up (right Beth?)  ;)  It's soooooo perrrrrrrtty!

That vellum balloon is included in the Baby Girl OR Boy Complements...take your pick!

I used the gorgeous Pen Pal Alphabet to stamp the HB2U sentiment.  Seriously, this little sign being held by his bear hands is pure genius.  SO versatile when you just use the die without the stamp!!!  It is UBER easy to draw in his paws to color and also add the outline of the sign!  I stamp the lettering first so I know how much room I have to play with.  ;)

I hope these tips help you to make the most out of your stamps and dies!  Thanks so much for stopping in today!

Seriously???  YEP!

Only during July!

Thin Cuts Tip for Tuesday!

I completely missed this pic when I posted my project last month using the Little Dreamer stamp and Thin Cuts from Close to My Heart.  HERE is a link back to see it if you missed it.

I had a GREAT tip to share when using the stamps and thin cuts on multi-stamp images.  This unicorn has several different stamps to line up to create the image.  If you are a stamp then cut girl like me, this can get a bit tricky.  I found that using the die cut as a guide helps to keep all the "parts" within the frame of the die cut...

Anyone else do this a different way?  Please share your ideas!  :)

Little Dreamer...with Sparkle!

How is it already June 6th???  Seriously.

OK, so I finally saw one of my BFF's to give her this FANTASTIC little birthday card...so I can FINALLY share it with you!!!

Isn't it just YUMMY?!?

I used a LOT of different toys to make this one...including my Sizzix Big Shot!  Did you know Sizzix is giving away a $50 gift card to their shop???  Yep!  You can totally get a Big Shot with that kind of dough!

I will make a list of everything I used at the bottom of my post...

This is the die set I used in my Sizzix Big Shot.  It is from (shocker here, lol) Close to My Heart, Thin Cuts--Stars...

This shaker card was an absolute BLAST to make!

Here is my list of supplies...

Going Green Blog Hop!

I just LOVE the month of May!  With everything in my neck of the woods coming back to life and turning green again, I couldn't resist a blog hop dedicated to just that...

And I decided to choose my new favorite shade of green to star in my show--Sea Glass, the first ever Close to My Heart Color of the Year.

I just so happened to have the perfect gift bag to use (oh yes, I reuse them!)  So I knew right away how to wrap this gift for one of my favorite little people.

I created an easy-peasy gift tag out of the rainbow and cloud dies from the Little Dreamer Scrapbooking and the Cardmaking stamp and dies sets...along with some White and Gold Ribbon.

The matching card features a little different color scheme, adding more Emerald Green accents and some great Sea Glass Glitter Paper.

I used a scalloped frame die from Mama Elephant, a pocket card from the Little Dreamer Paper Packet, and some Sea Glass CS as well.  Some Princess Gold Embossing powder from Ranger added just the right amount of glam.

I hope you enjoy all the greenery on our hop...you are now off to see Lalia's creation!

Here is the entire line up for our hop this month...
