Happy Halloween my crafty peeps! I made a cute little card for my goblin's lunchbox today with the Scaredy Cat Paper Packet and my amazing Cricut Artfully Sent Cartridge...
Of course it sports not one, but TWO colors of our fantastic Glitter Paper!
I cleverly disguised the inside of the card where I used the Glitter Paper...
SO much fun!
TODAY is the very last day to get the October Stamp of the Month, so get it now if it is on your wish list! :)
Have a safe Halloween! :)
Never let ANYONE dull your sparkle! Self admitted Cricut fanatic and Shimmer Trim addict. ;)

Guest Designer for Atlantic Hearts!
Hi everyone! I am so excited to be the guest designer at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge today! :)
I LOVE following some of my amazing Close to My Heart consultant friends to see what they are up to with both new and old products. It is a GREAT way to get inspired. (It is also a crazy way to find out you and your friends have the SAME creative ideas sometimes, which you will notice if you played along last week!)
Here is this week's sketch to play along with...
Now, here is my sweet creation with the current Stamp of the Month, Home for the Holidays!
I am ALWAYS ready to warm up my new Cricut Explore, and this stamp set coordinates with the Art Philosophy Collection! I cut the postage stamp and frame both at the size listed on the carrier sheet that comes with our My Acrylix stamps. :)
This sugar bear is full of the spirit of the season. I used a sentiment from the Hostess ONLY Rewards Set called Sweet As Sugar...
I think this makes such a great addition to the candies in the Stamp of the Month! It is truly a must-have!
This year, I am enjoying the cool color combo from the Snowhaven Paper Packet for winter creations. I am also STILL loving the sparkle in the Close to My Heart Glitter Paper and Shimmer Trim that I used to add little accents...
I added a little interest to the inside of the card with a simple image from the front...
Guess what!? I found another sentiment on YET ANOTHER fantastic Hostess ONLY Rewards Stamp for this one!
It is called Happy Hexagons, and you can ONLY get one by hosting an in-home or online gathering, by placing your order of $150 or more with me, OR by joining my Rewards Club! Contact me today so you can get your hands on these fantastic products and join in on all the fun over at Atlantic Hearts! :)
BIG thanks to Michelle for asking me to join them this week! :)
Don't wait to get your own Stamp of the Month for October...you only have three more days! ;)

Makeover Monday!
Hi everyone! I have a super-quick Makeover Monday for you today.
I had a craft Bazaar over the weekend, and wanted to show you the winter themed post-it-note holder I made. I used some retired Wonderland (swoon) paper and the Make It Merry (on Monday!) My Acrylix stamp set.
These are really easy to make, I tell you! A MUST try! HERE is my original post with the direction.
Have a fantastic week, my friends! :) Go get your sparkle on!

Hello, Tag (You're It!) Tuesday!
I just have a super-quick tag to show you today that I whipped up for a baby gift...that I still have to deliver! Oooops!
I recently picked up this awesome cork sheet stack from DCWV, so I wanted to use it for a nice, large tag. I used the MCT stitched tag die and mounted it on the Into the Woods LF paper...it was super-easy to trim it out.
I love this scripty "hello" die from Lawn Fawn, and I paired it up with a wonderful new globe image found on the Close to My Heart My Acrylix, Here We Go that debuted in August. I cut a 1.75 inch circle with my new Cricut Explore and stamped it in CTMH Sweet Leaf Exclusive Ink.
Together, I think these make a fitting sentiment to welcome a new baby to the world! :)
If you enjoy tag-making like I do, be sure to check out this GREAT new Stamp of the Month for October on my website!
The Chevron Ribbon has completely run out with the October Ribbon Revelry special! Don't worry, though, you will still receive a FREE ribbon or trim with a qualifying purchase. In fact, hat Slate Diagonal Ribbon I used to attach my tag just might be your freebie! I love a good mystery! Just be sure to add the freebie to your cart when prompted! :)

A Lawn Fawn Shaker Card
Hello my fellow paper addicts lovers!
I had a special card to make for a special Grandmother this weekend. Her 91 year old body is suddenly acting its age, and she could use a smile or two. I decided it was time to leap into the world of shaker cards for this one!
I love finally digging into my acetate packaging stash from all those cricut cartridges I have collected! ;) I used the Lawn Fawn Into the Woods Pattern Papers and Sequin Mix from last fall, Get Well Soon stamps and dies, You're a Hoot stamps and dies, and my freebie "sending hugs" sentient. The jar dies are from PS, and the inks, CS, and Glitter Paper are all Close to My Heart.
I think the little leaves in the shaker jar are the perfect addition for this season. The little band-aids were the perfect size to add! Yay!
Paper-piecing is just what the doctor ordered to dress up this little birdie...
I used my thin foam tape for this one, but will try the thicker version next time to get a little more "shake" to my shaker! ;) Either way, I am pretty sure Grandma will be smiling soon!

More Halloween Post It Note Matchbooks
I know! I told you I had another version of these to show you this week--and here it is! I even cut the shape from Artiste with my NEW Cricut Explore! Love this machine, let me tell you. LOVE these easy matchbooks even more!
If you want to see the sizing for this easy project, see my original post HERE! :)
Remember this project I showed you last month using the same stamp/shape...
The stamp is found on the Halloween Greetings My Acrylix set, and there are SO many other great images on it...while I'm not a "Halloween" person, I completely adore these stamps. ;)
BREAKING NEWS!!! The chevron ribbon is totally gone! There was such a huge demand for these that there are no more left--BUT NO WORRIES, you will still receive a FREE ribbon or trimming with your $50 order! :) If you like a surprise, now is a great time to see what you will get! ;)

Sparkling While Exhausted is NOT for Wimps
I cannot believe it is only Wednesday! That is pretty sad, too, since we didn't have school on Monday--so I also didn't have to work. I am just exhausted from my new job--but I would not trade it right now, that's for sure. I had to laugh when a friend posted this on their Facebook this past week...
So, how exactly does a person SPARKLE while exhausted? Well, sometimes you just need a bit of help from your glitter, to be honest! I made mine using the Close to My Heart Base and Bling line of customizable jewelry, my Liquid Glass, and the FABUTASTIC retired (boo) Prisma Glitter.
So THIS is my sparkle for tomorrow...
Have you got yours? :)

Tag (You're It!) Tuesday!
WHAT a GREAT day crafting yesterday! I am so thankful for the "extra" day added to the weekend. It came JUST in the nick of time, too, as I am busy getting prepped and stocked for a craft bazaar at my church later this month. :)
Today I wanted to share some of the tags I put together. These tags are special--they are made to hold a gift card in a little pocket. The dies are from My Creative Time, and are some of my all-time faves. I used some old 6x6 double sided paper packets that I have in my stash. I was able to use several of my new Close to My Heart embellishments to decorate them. Have a look!
These accents are from the Yuletide Carol Complements (which are some really thick stickers.) I stuck the holly and ivy to CS and trimmed it out so I could pop it up with some foam squares.
I really have grown fond of the Assortment Packs in the current Annual Inspirations book. They have really listened to our customers who want flatter pages with less bulk. This wooden accent is one example...
I was also able to use some of the retired embellishments that I still have...LOVE the cross-coordinating bits and pieces! :)
The leaves are another die from MCT, and the other Black and grey pieces used to be part of the Base and Bling line from Close to My Heart...
Finally, this sparkling glitter button is found in the Ruby Mini Medley...
Speaking of tags, make sure you check out the Stamp of the Month for October if you plan on making some Christmas tags of your own! You can even snag some FREE RIBBON for your tags with a $50 purchase this month! Be sure to add it to your cart when prompted. ;)
That's it for today...see you back here later this week.

Post-It Note Matchbook Treats with Halloween Greetings
Happy Columbus Day Even If THAT Didn't Really Happen The Way We Learned It As Kids! Really, what is there left to say about it? Debacle. Seriously, though, I will take it since it means one less day to pry my kids out of bed for school! ;) Now, on to the real reason for October...mammograms and Halloween! ;)
I will let you ponder that one a bit while you check out my latest creation using my fantastic Close to My Heart My Acrylix stamps...this time, I used the adorable Halloween Greetings.
These Matchbook holders are just perfect for the 3x3 Post-It Notes. I started with a 3 1/8 x 10 1/8 inch piece of CS. Next, I scored at 3 5/8 and 4 1/8 from one end and at 1 5/8 from the other end using my Close to My Heart Score Board.
Fold all the score lines in the same direction, and staple in about 3/8 of an inch from bottom score. I will update this post with the sizes when I get down to my craft cave tomorrow...not much time at the moment, so I just want to get this one posted.
I just love that saying! "If the broom fits...ride it!"
I added an 11.5 inch length of the Black Striped Twill Ribbon and/or Thistle Diagonal Striped Ribbon to cover the mini staples I added at the bottom. I added a bit of detail to this one with my Scallop Border Punch before stapling. :)
These will be available for purchase at my upcoming craft show! :) I will show you more later this week. Come back soon!

Happy Birthday, to My Baby! :)
My baby girl is turning 11 today...oh my! I have absolutely NO idea how this happened, because I feel like it was just yesterday that she was starting Kindergarten. The years just evaporate, so I had better get busy on my scrapbooks...but I digress...on to the birthday girl!
She is a lover of all things yellow, and basketball, and Blackhawks...which leaves this momma with a whole lotta nothing when it comes to stamps, lol. Lucky for me she also adores turtles! I scooped up an adorable set from Lawn Fawn and the patterned papers from my Simon Says Stamp Card Kit from last fall with the Lawn Fawn papers included, and got to work with the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches...
I ADORE this sketch SO much! LOVE these papers with fall color in them as well. There isn't any yellow here, but I know she will love that cute little guy bringing her a gift!
He actually used to have a heated bottle on his back from a get well set...
That was easy to change up for sure--it is still there under the present. ;) I added some color to the image with the ShinHan Touch Twin Alcohol Marker in Sap Green.
This sentiment is from one of my favorite Birthday My Acrylix sets from Close to My Heart, Joyful Birthday.
I am linking this up with Lawnscaping Challenges for their pattern paper challenge. :)
Sorry for the missing links!
OH! And Happy Birthday, to my big girl!!! Just remember, you are not 11 until after you go to bed tonight, lol...I get one more day of your 10-year-old hugs! ;)
