Everything Christmas Gift Card Holder

Ready for the great news???  I have finally scheduled my Everything Christmas Workshop!  Come to my craft cave in less than two weeks on Saturday, November 14th at 6:00pm (eat a bit of dinner first!)  For just $15 we will make four cards and a set of gift tags.

I will also have a very special cash and carry Base and Bling Buffet set up for you to create the perfect jewels to give as a gift!

So are you ready to see what we will make?  Here we go!

Card number one for my Everything Christmas Workshop is a versatile gift card holder featuring the La Vie En Rose Paper Packet!

This is one of my favorite cuts on the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  I use it quite a bit--and even at a workshop or two!  :)  The stamped image can be found on the new seasonal Holly Jolly Christmas My Acrylix set.  I used a few of my favorite blingy products: Silver Embossing Powder, Bitty Sparkles, and Silver Shimmer Trim!  :)

Thanks for popping in today!  Please RSVP for my workshop by FRIDAY!!!  Yep, I said Friday--the 6th...this week!  ;)

November brings a NEW exclusive stamp set!

Sparkling While Exhausted is NOT for Wimps

I cannot believe it is only Wednesday!  That is pretty sad, too, since we didn't have school on Monday--so I also didn't have to work.  I am just exhausted from my new job--but I would not trade it right now, that's for sure.  I had to laugh when a friend posted this on their Facebook this past week...

So, how exactly does a person SPARKLE while exhausted?  Well, sometimes you just need a bit of help from your glitter, to be honest!   I made mine using the Close to My Heart Base and Bling line of customizable jewelry, my Liquid Glass, and the FABUTASTIC retired (boo) Prisma Glitter.

So THIS is my sparkle for tomorrow...

Have you got yours?  :)

Base and Bling Magnets and a Pendant with a Twist

Back again!  I have a quick post about two of the little gifties I created for my CTMH sisters at convention.

I just love how easy these were!!!  I used the clear cover/glass of the Base and Bling necklace to make some little magnets with liquid glass.  I started off super-simple, and then had a stroke of inspiration!

I still can't get over the mickey ears!  I cut them out from the Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge.  They were actually left over from another project that I still have to show you...AFTER a certain something happens!!!!  EEEEEK!  I just cannot wait!!!  ;)

One more little something from the base and bling!  I made this awesome Damask look pendant using the For Always Textiles!  Added bonus on this one when the fabric turned BLUE in places!  Isn't it a neat look?

Be back soon!  :)

Bring the Base and Bling!

Hi there!  I have been waiting to show you this fantastic new crafty creation from Close to My Heart!

Have you heard about the new Base and Bling line?  You can make totally customizeable jewelry at home with these fabulous new options from our Idea Book!

Here is the one I made to mimic the one in the picture...

I love that poofy flower--it says, "When in doubt add glitter" underneath!  :)  The little scissors dangle and the sparkle bling fit me perfectly too!  Here is a pic of the pendant on my chain for you to see the 30 inch length...

Yep, that's me!  Base and Bling Selfie!!!

The Base and Bling metal composition is made of a zinc alloy in case anyone has any sensitivity issues and needs to know.  :)

Here is a list of the items I used to make my custom necklace...the best part is that you can make yours however you like with endless possibilities!   I can't wait to make mine in the Faux Antiqued Gold next!  :)

Base and Bling Rhinestone Charms
Base and Bling Square Pendants--Faux Antiqued Silver
Base and Bling Craft Queen Charms
Base and Bling Square Glass Covers
Base and Bling Chain--Faux Antiqued Silver
Base and Bling Craft Queen Style Sheet
Ivy Lane Assortment

Even better, here is a video by CTMH showing you all the new ways to make your custom Base and Bling necklace!

AND here is another one that shows you even MORE, including how to make yours!  :)

Close to My Heart Glitter Paper is Just For You!

Hi everyone!  I missed playing along with the Card-A-Day Challenge yesterday, but I had a huge day, so I am giving myself a break.  I'm going to back up a bit and share the card I made for Day #8:  Glitter It Up!  I used all the sparkle I could get my hands on!  ;)

For the glitzy flower, I again used the Just For You My Acrylix Set that I LOVE along with the Black and Grey Glitter Paper!   If you crave the sparkle of glitter without the mess, then this paper is for you!  The sentiment and diamond pattern is from a gorgeous My Acrylix set called Fabulous You.  I stamped in Black Ink on Twilight CS.

Some other bits of bling came from the Base and Bling Black Jewels, Sparkles Flourishes, and Mini Medley Accents Black Collection.

I have been trying extra hard to give some attention to the inside of my cards as well...

Have I ever mentioned that all of the card bases I use come from CTMH too?  Yep!  HERE they are in White on my website in an awesome multipack!  They are pre-scored, and come with envelopes too.  I highly recommend them!

Thanks for stopping in and taking a peek!  I cannot wait to show you a similar card I made that has a different color scheme all together...but you will have to wait until Friday!  Sparkle on!  :)
