Live Beautifully with Happy Heart

I've been super busy working to get things all squared away for my traveling workshop this week.  Here is one of my new additions to the card buffet!

Close to My Heart is SOOOOOOOO good to its consultants.  This is a card designed by one of the many talented consultants that is provided to us to use for our own workshops!  I just adore the banners along with the Heart Thin Cut Die!  I just changed up the sentiment to this one from Happy Heart to provide my ladies with options and added some bling!  :)

This sentiment is from the Happy Heart My Acrylix from Close to My Heart.

This Live Beautifully paper was actually only available during one special month, but it is now back in the "Going Soon!" category on my website, so it isn't too late to get your hands on it!  :)

PLEEEEEEASE, don't forget that the MAIN IDEA BOOK, called Annual Inspirations, is retiring at the end of July.  Sea Glass in all forms, except the D-Ring and Post bound Albums, will be GONE!  (Glitter paper is already sold out I'm afraid.)

If you have your heart set on anything in this book then grab it soon.

Only a few more days!

Only this month!

A Lawn Fawn Cheerful Get Well Challenge

Hi friends!

I made this adorable little card for my aunt who is bravely fighting cancer and receiving chemo for yet another week this time around.  I am doing my best to write her more now that the summer leaves me with a bit of free time.  I'm linking this one up with the Lawn Fawnatics Get Well Challenge...

This was a super easy shaker card to put together.  I used the Get Well Soon and On the Mend stamps and dies, Into the Woods sequins, Lobster Ink Pad, and a rainbow plaid paper pack that I adore...

These images are pretty easy to color with ShinHan Touch Twin and Copic markers.  I also added some flags using Willow and Sea Glass CS (on sale NOW!!!), along with a spotted purple paper from the Fundamentals Adventure Paper.

I set up my foam tape like this in order to make the shaker feature...The die I used helps me to line up the foam tape on the edges of the heart...

This heart Thin Cuts I used was from Close to My Heart, but is not currently available.  It includes an outline of the heart that I was able to use on the inside sentiment...

Thanks for taking a look!

Happy Wedding Day Card

I cannot believe how back-logged I am in sharing my pics lately, lol!  I guess I am spending way more time stamping than blogging...which isn't necessarily a bad thing, eh?  ;)

OK, so here is a super quick yet beautiful wedding card I made for my daughter to take along to her BFF's mom's wedding.  Lucky me had a bunch of beautiful flowers from the Ellen Hutson Courage set already stamped and cut just waiting for me to "plant!"

I combined some paper and sequins from the Prickly Pear Paper suite from Close to My Heart with the flowers, but made sure to keep them the center of attention.  My heart thin cut was an easy way to center the sentiment from Happy To Be Friends on this one!  Oh how I adore this font! Next time I think I will stamp the "Happy" in another color or a second generation from the "wedding day" part of the sentiment to make a little more clear.  Definitely didn't have time for a re-do on this day, lol.

By the way....it was the PERFECT day for a wedding!!!

I'm linking up with the Ellen Hutson June Mix It Up Challenge for the first time.  Kind of a new discovery to me, so I'm pretty excited!

Happy National Papercrafting Day!

Well, officially I am a couple of days late with this wish, hahaha...but when you get busy crafting, you are sometimes late.  ;)

I got together with some old and new customers at my friend's house to create this easy-peasy layout inspired by the Close to My Heart Seasonal Expressions Idea Book...

I just love that I can use the layouts featured in our catalogs to create a bit faster and easier...

I also ADORE the new Worshops Your Way instructions that include ways to add more photos to your layout with these new page protector sizes!

Using Thin Cuts is just one way to create some easy embellishments on pages...

Zip strips are another way to add some coordinated pattern and color...did you know they come on every 12 x 12 pattern paper in the paper suites?  They do!

I used the following Close to My Heart supplies for this page...

Sugar Rush Paper Packet
White Daisy and Pomegranate CS
Sea Glass Glitter Paper
Sugar Rush Dots and Washi
Hearts Thin Cuts
XOXO Thin Cuts
Marvy Uchida LePen

and

The January Stamp of the Month!

You can STILL get this amazing paper wreath project for FREE on my website for two more days!  Just fill your cart with $60 of products from your wish list, and then you will be prompted to add it for FREE!!!  You can buy as many as you want for just $18.95 too!  :)

Here's how mine turned out in case you missed it!
