CTMH Perpetual Calendar: June
Yep, I totally forgot what month I was on! Sorry about that, I am horribly side-tracked these days. It was a good thing this month came together so easily with a Picture My Life pocket scrapbooking card and a couple of retired puffy stickers. No sidetracking here! ;)

CTMH Perpetual Calendar: May
Time to leap ahead again in my Close to My Heart perpetual calendar...this time to May flowers!
I made this calendar for my sister, and thought this PML card was just perfect to add for May when all things are growing...
Those branch-like shapes are from the Cricut Artistry Cartridge--leftover cuts from a tag set I created for a workshop back in November! The puffy heart takes me waaaaaaaay back to a grade school sticker collection. You can find it in the Chalk It Up Assortment available on clearance now over on my CTMH website!

La Vie En Rose Layout with So Many Smiles
I have been waiting to share this layout...soooo long in fact that I can't even remember if I shared it yet. The struggle is real, you guys. There must be a slow leak in my brain since I turned 40, lol.
So here it is in case I haven't shown it to you, and if I actually HAVE, then Throwback Thursday it is! ;)
This is one of my personal faves from my big girl's first year at college. I practically survived her being so far away by stalking her on FB (seriously, I have no idea how my mother survived my college years without social media stalking) and stealing every last one of her pictures. I have successfully compiled them into an album for her now, and by golly, I think Mikey likes it! ;)
I discovered this FANTASTIC second use for my Picture My Life Overlay cards--in my regular layouts! LOVE! These Green Glitter and Enamel Duos triangles are super little bits of bling added to the other shapes from the stamped images of So Many Smiles on the page...
Oh my word, you just have to see this black and white paper from La Vie En Rose in person. But trust me that it is actually dizzying to stare at too long!

White Pines Blog Hop Featuring the 12 Days of Christmas!
Welcome back for another blog hop!
My 12 Days of Christmas theme really evolved over the course of laying out just this one page, so let me show you how that happened...I started with my favorite theme--GOLD (5 golden rings) and the White Pines Picture My Life cards! ;)
These gold Picture My Life Pocket Scrapbooking overlays have taken over my scrapbooking lately...they are so much fun!
Do you have just a few pics from an event that you still want to capture? DO IT! These pocket cards make it very doable...even if the pics aren't the BEST quality like mine...I didn't want to lose the memory though.
My partridge in a pear tree is a cute little bird found in the White Pines Complements...
...and the pear is found on the Harvest Wreath My Acrylix stamp set. I had so few pics of my girl for this layout that I had to take up space--and this just happened to fit quite well! I used some patterned paper from the coordinating White Pines Paper Packet for the card too...
Oh my goodness, this was quite the development...I never dreamed I would be turning NOEL into NO teeth! ;)
One simple way to add more pics to your layouts is to use Flip Flaps. I adore these versatile page elements that attach with a strong adhesive directly to your page protector. They are JUST as thick and sturdy as our CTMH page protectors too! They come in all sorts of sizes--I used the 3 x 4 inch pocket to add this fun and interactive detail to my layout. :)
If you are a pocket scrapper, you HAVE to get this awesome Dated My Acrylix Set!
These fantastic journaling cards can be used all on their own or blinged up with almost no extra time...
Next up on this short but sweet Christmas hop is my friend, Kelly! Keep hopping from one blog to the next by clicking the links, or just refer to this list!

Scrappin' on Saturday (I Hope)
Another Saturday has suddenly appeared, and I fully intend to get some scrapbooking finished. You might have noticed JUST a bit that I haven't posted a single PML or PL layout in a few months. Ugh, I can't believe I fell off the wagon so quickly! I am hoping to get all caught up to week...um...let's see...27??? Oh my...
I am glad I have some cards all set to go that I made with my June 2015 Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart. I love them for highlighting pictures from a party or just hanging out eating ice cream!
I love the chalkboard look for this fantastic font! I also tried my hand at a couple of other stamping techniques for these easy pocket cards for the Picture My Life system of pocket scrapbooking also called Project Life. I used my stamps to create some coordinating pocket cards and rounded the corners with my corner rounder.
This puddle pad technique involves dropping ink on a baby wipe to create a colorful image. Sometimes you need to add a bit darker colors to your images this way, which you can see in my example below...

Makeover Monday with Typed Note and Mini Calendar
Yes! It is time for another one of my favorite days to post--Makeover Monday!
This week, I have a real treat for you. I used the April Stamp of the Month, Typed Note, AND the size M Mini Calendar stamp to makeover one of the Picture My Life pocket cards.
Before...
...and after!
Isn't it a great little way to document the dates in your scrapbook? I used White Daisy and Slate CS to stamp the images in Black ink, then trimmed them out. SUPER easy!
I used this as a little make and take at my crop this weekend, and they loved it! I have a few more to show you later. :)
Pick up this adorable set in April before the month is over! :)

Throwback Thursday Picture My Life Photo Tip!
Picture My Life!!!! The pocket style pages made for this system also referred to as Project Life, are just perfect to toss those extra pics in at the end of your 12 x 12 album! It takes just a few minutes to tuck them in along with some pre-made PML cards. :) Here are a few that I added to the end of mine...
I hope you like my solution, and hope you find it useful! I used some cards from the retired Picture My Life Surf's Up Kit and retired Heartstrings Kit. You can see all the available Picture My Life cards and pages on my website right HERE.

Picture My Life Hopscotch Edition
Hi again! Two blog posts in a row is pretty darn good for me these days, lol. I have been playing with the Close to My Heart pocket-style scrapbooking program called Picture My Life this year and enjoying it A LOT! One of my favorite things about using it is how FAST I can get my pictures into pages. It is just like having my own easy button for scrapbooking!
Here is a great example featuring the Hopscotch PML cards and the February Stamp of the Month, A Happy Hello...
Now, the image I used for the sun is actually part of a floral set...but isn't it perfect? The cards are for a layout with lots of pics from the snowy weather lately.
Add a simple cloud shape cut from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge, and you have an even cuter...and still quite easy, creation! :)
Tune in Monday to see how I took one of these cards up a notch with some embellishments...you won't want to miss it! :)

My Life in Pictures Project
SO, I have been keeping a weekly picture album of my year in the Project Life (PL) or Picture My Life (PML) style of memory keeping. This method uses pocket pages instead of a true 12 x 12 scrapbook page which is a new thing for me. It is definitely working, and I want to share a bit with you about how I organize my pocket cards for this project.
But FIRST, check out this darling pocket card I stamped--simple, yet fun!
I could have chosen pretty much any color to use for this, but decided on Black so it would go with several different occasions. Instead of re-inking my image from Glitter Glam, I just kept on stamping it on down the page...
I used a glitter pen to add some sparkle afterwards. OF COURSE! :)
Back to the organization...I use the Medium Organizer from Close to My Heart to store my cards. I love how you can rearrange the dividers to fit the different sizes...
I just add the ones I create myself to another section. They fit perfectly!

Be Amazing (Yes, YOU!)
Is there a day of the week that starts with a P or a J??? I need a catchy little way to introduce these little cards for PML or PL or call them Journaling Cards if you like, but I need a coordinating day...how about an eighth day of the week called Paperday? Oh how I wish!!! :)
Here is the latest of the cards I made with the Year Noted Kit for National Papercrafting Month...
I thought the Gold Polka-Dot Washi was a lovely coordinating product, how about you?
I stamped the "BE AMAZING" image from the current Stamp of the Month in Sorbet Ink (twice without re-inking.) The arrow from the Year Noted Kit is stamped in Black. That pretty little glittery gold butterfly is in the CTMH Junebug Puffies.
I don't know about you, but I am REALLY loving the gold accents, and I am usually a silver girl! It reminds me a lot of Teresa Collins new lines this year. :)
