Picture My Life Hopscotch Edition

Hi again!  Two blog posts in a row is pretty darn good for me these days, lol.  I have been playing with the Close to My Heart pocket-style scrapbooking program called Picture My Life this year and enjoying it A LOT!  One of my favorite things about using it is how FAST I can get my pictures into pages.  It is just like having my own easy button for scrapbooking!

Here is a great example featuring the Hopscotch PML cards and the February Stamp of the Month, A Happy Hello...

Now, the image I used for the sun is actually part of a floral set...but isn't it perfect?  The cards are for a layout with lots of pics from the snowy weather lately.

Add a simple cloud shape cut from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge, and you have an even cuter...and still quite easy, creation!  :)

Tune in Monday to see how I took one of these cards up a notch with some embellishments...you won't want to miss it!  :)

Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month Spotlight

Welcome to my creative space!  Today I just wanted to show you a little Stamp of the Month action.  This month, Close to My Heart has a fantastic little builder set that you can get ONLY in February.  Take a peek at A Happy Hello...

I had a little fun with layers on this card...and left it with no sentiment so it could be used for many different occasions.  The technique to make the stamped layer is essentially the same as for the triple stamp technique you can see HERE.  I just used two layers on this one instead.

I used my circle punches in various sizes and a 2 inch scallop punch to make the different layers of blooms.  To add some sparkle, I used Purple Glitter Paper and some Purple Glitter Gems.  I think the color combo of Glacier, Flaxen, Thistle, and Gypsy works really well for a light feel.

There are just so many possibilities with building stamp sets...what would you do with it?  I used one of the images last week to make a pattern paper for another card that you can see HERE.  Wonder what I might do with it next?  :)  Stay tuned!

Playing Hopscotch with Mojo Monday 383

Another Monday off school, and I am ready to post my Mojo Monday 383!  This time, we had an actual SNOW day!  :)

I used lots of my new Close to My Heart products for this one, including the Hopscotch Paper Packet, and the new February Stamp of the Month, A Happy Hello.  I made the little pattern with one of the medallion images included in it...

I love the new Mini-Stapler for attaching vellum and other embellishments...

I even had a bit of fun on the inside of this one...

Thanks for popping in...my laptop battery is about to die!  Gotta go!  ;)
