Make It From Your Heart Seaside Recreation

I promised to show you my finished Seaside Display Tray that I created after seeing it featured on the Make It From Your Heart Blog from Close to My Heart...so here it is!

Be sure to follow my link above to see the original tray by the artists over at Close to My Heart!

I didn't have any pieces of my Seaside Assortment left after I created layouts, so I used the retired Seaside Wooden Shapes from a few Idea Books back...

I used the images from Treasured Friendship and Seaside Greetings to recreate some of the embellishments in the original.

The Glacier Extra Thick Twine was tricky to tie in knots with short lengths, but I was determined to make it work!  The Oceanside Sequins were a BREEZE to add, though!  ;)

Here are some of the other CTMH supplies I used:
Display Tray
Seaside Picture My Life
Seaside Workshop on the Go
Keyboard Uppercase Alphabet
White Embossing Powder
White Daisy Exclusive Ink
Desert Sand Exclusive Ink
ShinHan Touch Twin Alcohol Ink Markers

LOTS of super CTMH items are retiring in just a few short days, so better check your wishlists before they disappear!  :)   LIST OF RETIRING ITEMS

BUT, remember, there are also lots of NEW products coming too!  If you want to see some that I added to my Display Tray, check it out over on my Facebook Page now!

When August is gone, so is Framed!

Just Beachy By the Seaside

I am officially running out of beach titles for blog posts, lol.  That's OK, because I should be home by now and ready to get crafty again after the break!

Lets get right to the layouts featuring the Seaside Workshop on the Go Scrapbooking Kit!

Remember to use the zip strips that run along the edge of the Close to My Heart Pattern Papers!  They all coordinate with the colors in the paper packet and have many different uses!  :)

I used the Chevron Border Punch to add an interesting linear element. (That's just fancy talk for, "check out this awesome border punch that I used!")
The net image found in the WOTG is great for random stamping on nautical themes...
Yep, it is a tad blurry...oooops!
I stamped it twice before re-inking for a different effect...
The metal Seaside Assortment embellishments are the perfect addition.
Thanks for taking a peek!  :)

Back to the Seaside

Here are some more pics I scrapped using Close to My Heart's subtle Seaside colors.  I used the Seaside Workshop on the Go Scrapbooking Kit for this one.

Aqua Dots are a great bubbly addition to beachy layouts.

The Seaside Assortment metal shapes are beautiful.

LOVE the fence zip strip that comes on the patterned papers!

You can pick this kit up NOW and enter my March Madness Mystery Hostess giveaway until April 7th!  Don't miss your chance to win $25 or MORE of FREE Close to My Heart products without even having a party!  :)  Click HERE for all the details and links!  :)
