Shimmer Trim!!!
I am telling you that this stuff is the best thing since frosting in a tub!!! All the shimmer and shine of glitter, but none of the mess! I can't think of a better 200th post than one dedicated to my favorite product of all time! :)
My Color Dare project for this week shockingly sports some Black Shimmer Trim. As usual, it just can't seem to stay on its roll in my craft room...just keeps jumping onto my projects left and right. ;) Our color scheme this week is to use the Close to My Heart Colors Twilight, Pear, and Buttercup. These colors are all in the Chantilly Paper Packet, but shockingly, I ignored her this time. I went for my solid cardstock instead because I had a plan!
I had been wanting to use my 2013 April Stamp of the Month, My Sunshine. Nothing would stop me, and nothing did! My inspiration for this card is undoubtedly the many sunsets I watched from the beach house on spring break what seems like weeks ago. I think the black shimmer trim and sentiment are a fabulous contrast to the colors in the card.
