On the Eighth Day of Christmas...

...my crafty hands made me, teacher gifts wrapped with glee!

On a recent blog hop, I saw the idea to use regular lunch sacks decorated with pretty papers in place of store bought gift bags.  I had all the supplies already, so I certainly went for it!  I used papers from the Reflections Warm Wishes Kraft Pad and some assorted twine.

These tags were actually on one of the patterned papers!  Just had to trim them out.  Super, duper easy-peasy!  :)

The Box--Take Two!

I couldn't wait to try my hands at another box makeover, and I had the perfect reason to do so...we needed a gift box for a sweet sixteen celebration!  With some input from my daughter on colors and patterns, I got to work.  Here it is!

We both agreed that it HAD to be zebra print, and what better place than the lid?  It is the perfect backdrop for the beautiful flowers that I cut out on my Cricut with my Art Philosophy Cartridge from Close to My Heart.

The beautiful bling on top is also from Close to My Heart and is one of the Sparkles Flourishes.  I wanted to add some class with the pearl brads and even added more glitz with my Sakura Gelly Roll stardust pen to the flowers.  I think the finished product says "teenage girl" all over it!  :)

Another Wrap!

Happy days after Christmas to you and yours!  I have been busy still with wrapping for two more get-togethers, so not quite finished and I am secretly glad. ;)  Here are some gift tags that I decorated with my Cricut Imagine that my MIL got me for Christmas this year.  Side note:  I LOVE MY IMAGINE!!!!  It is amazing!  The word of the day is Imagine! *stares off into the distance and sighs*
I used images and prints from the Snow Angel Cartridge.  I love the colors on this one.
After I finished the flowers, I realized they were not quite done...
So...WALLA!  I added some dimension and bling.
This flower center is cut from the Flower Shoppe Cartridge.  It was left over from another project.  Did I ever mention my little habit of keeping all my scraps?  So now you know why!
I cannot wait to get together with my friends for our celebration this year!
